Welcome to Bokshop (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our multivendor eCommerce platform (“Platform”), whether as a customer, vendor, or visitor.
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Vendors must provide valid identification for verification.
By using this Platform, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Vendors agree to:
Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing.
Ensure that products comply with Nigerian laws and do not infringe on third-party rights.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and professionally.
Honor warranties, returns, and refunds as required under Nigerian Consumer Protection laws.
Not list prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal items.
Customers agree to:
Provide accurate delivery and payment details.
Use the Platform only for lawful purchases.
Not engage in fraudulent transactions or misuse the Platform.
Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We are not liable for issues arising from payment processors.
An order is confirmed only after successful payment.
Vendors are solely responsible for delivering products to customers.
We may act as an intermediary in disputes but are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products.
You agree not to:
Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
Interfere with the Platform’s security or functionality.
Collect personal data of others without consent.
All content on the Platform (logo, design, text, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Bokshop
Vendors retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant us a license to display them on the Platform.
You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit content without prior written consent.
We provide the Platform on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components.
We are not liable for:
Products sold by vendors.
Losses arising from third-party service providers (e.g., payment gateways, delivery companies).
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold Bokshop, its affiliates, and staff harmless against any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR 2019).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Violate these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.
Harm other users, vendors, or the integrity of the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes will first be resolved amicably through negotiation.
If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
Arbitration shall take place in Port harcort city, Nigeria, and conducted in English.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective once posted on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms
